Hardwork Pays off :)

I love my job at Mr.B’s! Even though I get told that I don't do much work because I am always talking. I do on the other hand believe that all of the talking that I do with my customers develops the relationship that I have with them leading to bigger and better tips. Another positive to that situation is all of the positive connections that can be made :) My favorite part is all the cute little kids that I get to watch grow up. I can't believe that I once was one of the "Mr. B's Little Kids" that everyone watched grow up from when I was little. I always think about how Tara remembers me from when I was little and now I'm babysitting her kids. I wonder if maybe one day one of the kids that I wait tables for or just talk to while I’m working will be one of my babysitters lol. That would be quite interesting. Today was kind of slow at the restaurant therefore I got to spend a lot of quality time with the people in my section. Considering the amount of people that we DID NOT have, we still made pretty good in tips so that’s always a PLUS! :)

Full of joy. Its kids such as Bailor that make me learn how to live like and its kids just like Bailor that can teach everyone HOW to live :)

Could have such a deadly thing as cancer. This tiny child with a lively heart is a current survivor and sooo full of joy that seeing him smile makes me ...

Sometimes the going gets rough...

But the rough going CANNOT end the journey. I realized today why I dance. I dance because it makes me feel good. I dance because it is my escape from the word where I can’t be as many different things/people/objects as I want to be. I dance because it is what makes BRITTANY CALDWELL happy! I entertain because of the feeling I get when I touch someone else. I don't dance because I have to. I don’t dance because anyone makes me. I dance because it’s where my heart leads me. If my heart leads me to the stage then the stage is where I am going. I don’t care what I am wearing whether it be FLASHY or dull. It’s the dancer that makes the costume... Not the costume that makes the dancer. I am on a journey to climb an ENDLESS mountain. The day I reach the top will be the day I arrive before God in Heaven. I AM willing to spare everything I HAVE and OWN to dance my heart out for me and myself ONLY. If you only knew what dancing does to me you would realize where I am coming from. It’s not only the performance that brings me joy. It’s not only the cute choreography of a routine that makes me happy. Helping Mrs. Brenda and teaching the babies is what makes me SMILE. And when they smile... I GLOW. There is nothing better than the feeling that comes from knowing that you have TAUGHT someone something that they know. My favorites are the ones that dance because they love it no matter who is watching... "Live like you never lived before, laugh like you have never chuckled, and Dance as if YOU were the one watching" :) If you dance, be thankful that you can dance. Be thankful that you are able to learn. I am thankful that I can dance. I am thankful that I can learn. I dance as if I was the audience and I am looking for entertainment. The performance is what makes the dancer. You can be the dancer with the greatest kicks, turns, jumps and leaps. You can be the tapper with the fastest feet. You can be break dancer with the best flares and tricks but nothing... NOTHING AT ALL can over see the dancer who has the most passion and dances as if he or she will never be able to dance again. I am currently a senior graduating from high school. I don’t want to cut any part of my dance year short and I want to live each moment of it to the fullest. THIS IS MY YEAR. This is my year to everything that I have not done. This is my year to shine the brightest and do my best in every way possible to achieve my goals. This is the year that I am living DANCE to the fullest of my potential because my future career is not promised. I am not going to be a dance major because my passion does not lie with ballet and modern. On the contrary, my passion does lie within my hopes and dreams of becoming a UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA CAROLINA GIRL. This is not only my year to shine for myself alone, but I have to shine for other such as my future Coach to show her that I do have the passion. To show her that I don’t JUST think I can.... I KNOW I CAN. My heart and soul is currently set. Whatever I don’t get done with my final year of dance at Brenda Cranford School of Dance will go undone unless it is God's will for me to carry one. Only he knows my path. Only he knows my future. And with God, "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me"

Hahaaa so kate and I are sittin here in english class discussing OUR blogsss ! Lol I can't wait to look back in 10 yrs and remember some of these things ! :)

Not the Beginning …

I had a wonderful day at dance today. Making progress with our "superior" tap team routine. Its looking better and all about cleaning now :) the cutest set of little girls have started their dance lessons and I don't think Mrs. Brenda and I have EVERRRRRR taught a group of girls sooo cute and well behaved !They were just precious! The cute smiles on their faces as they dance definitely insured myself of the reason why I love helping Mrs. Brenda teach dance !:)) helping others grow is always a positive trait in anyones life just like the student that I voluntarily teach algebra during my assistant block first period. Seeing him smile to know that he has done a problem correctly always makes my dayy ! :) can't wait for tomorrow ...
